MotracLinde logo

MotracLinde was founded in 1954 and has been a leader in internal logistics solutions ever since.

Due to their large network and technologically advanced products, they belong to the top in the Netherlands, with now 4 offices in Almere (head office), Zwijndrecht, Venlo and Apeldoorn.

Challenge

Because the success and growth of MotracLinde has been on an upward trend for a long time, many processes related to production and process still had to be processed manually. As a result, not only was one accessible overview for all departments missing, but there was also a higher workload and increased error sensitivity. For example, transport schedules were set out with magnets on a map and it was necessary to manually keep track of whether the planned delivery dates were still up-to-date. However, Salesforce and Axapta were already used for organizing and storing data, they unfortunately did not function optimally together, which resulted in double actions.

Solution

The platform designed by our colleagues has braught MotracLinde a boost in efficiency, resulting in considerable time savings. Where previously employees used to work overtime, they are now ready before the lunchbreak! And all this without cutting off on their current standards, values and systems. Consider, for example, the map with magnets. This process has not been rejected but has simply been digitized. And in the software used, our colleagues at Nimble have remained close to MotracLinde’s long working method. For example, there is no question of canceling software from transferring systems of data, but some have been added, which are then integrated with each other to the level of great ease of use. All in all, a significant increase in efficiency and ease of use, and fully prepared for tomorrow!

Results

The platform we created has boots the efficiency at MotracLinde, resulting in significant time savings. Where previously employees worked overtime sometimes, they are now ready before lunch! And all this without compromising on their current standards, values and systems. Consider, for example, the map with magnets. This process has not been rejected, but has simply been digitized. And in the software they used, our colleagues at Nimble have remained close to MotracLinde’s long-standing method. For example, there has been no termination of software or the transfer of data, but systems have been added. The systems are fully integrated with each other, up to the level of flawless ease of use. Altogether, a significant increase in efficiency and ease of use, and fully prepared for tomorrow!
